Also, there are many lakes, springs, rivers, waterfalls, etc. The most arresting ones are Yarlung River, Namtso Lake, Lhasa River, Yamdrok Lake, Basum tso Lake, Manasarovar Lake, Lhamo Latso Lake etc. Regarding temperature, the average temperature in Tibet is approximately 8°C. Also, the temperature can fall to -16°C and rise up to 16°C. January is the arid and coldest month when the temperature falls to -9 °C. In July, temperature can't rise to 10°C.

Tibet is popular for having the unique culture in the world people wholly dedicated to Tibetan Buddhism. Generally, the Tibetans speak Tibetan language and they also know Chinese pretty well as they have to learn it at school.
