Detailed Itinerary
NEPAL
Day 01: Arrival Kathmandu (1350m.)
You will first land at Kathmandu airport and meet with our representatives who transmit you to your Hotel. Our representatives will give you short description of your tour after you set up. After that, you will be getting some time to blend in and check stuffs in the Hotel to make sure if it is alright or not. In the afternoon, you will take some rest and later in the evening, you will be going out for Nepali dinner along with live folk dance performances. You will be back to your Hotel after everything is done and you will be off to sleep.
Day 02: Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour - Nagarkot (2915m.)
After your breakfast, you will be going for sightseeing at Pashupatinath Temple which is one of the most famous Temples in all over the world. There you will be gazing upon the cremation of dead body, devotees, monkeys and different other environments around the Temple. Later, you will be proceeding towards Patan to study its interesting arts and structural designs. Soon after that, you will be leaving Patan and you roam around Bhaktapur which is 4 Km, east of Kathmandu. Bhaktapur is actually re-known as the city of devotees and it is also a center of potter and fascinating façade. The prime sightseeing places in Bhaktapur are 55 windows palace, Nyatapola, Durbar Square, Dattatreya Temple, Bhairavnath Temple, et-cetera. After all the visits and tired-some day, in the evening, you will drive to Nagarkot where you will witness stunning sunset view and peak view including mighty Mt. Everest from the hotel. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 03: Nagarkot – Kathmandu – Sightseeing
Early in the morning today you will witness the attention-grabbing sunrise view. After having breakfast, you will drive down to Kathmandu. On return, you will go for sightseeing tour of Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple) and then go around Kathmandu Durbar Square and you will visit Kumari, the Living Goddess of Nepal, Hanuman Dhoka Palace, well-known Kasthamandap Temple and several other shrines. Overnight at hotel.
TIBET
Day 04: Fly from Kathmandu to Lhasa (3680m.)
We will transfer you to Nepal Airport after Breakfast for your flight to Lhasa. This is one of the exciting day of your Nepal Tibet Bhutan 17 days Tour, an hour scenic flight over mountains will take you to Gongar Airport. Our Tibetan guide will pick you up and transfer to Hotel. Rest at Hotel. O/n Hotel.
Day 05: Lhasa (3680m.)
Your tour in Tibet in fact starts from today as you leave for Jokhang Temple after your breakfast. Jokhang Temple is one of the most famous Temples in Tibet that grasp many astonishing history. After some sightseeing of the great Jokhang Temple, you leave for another visit to Barkhor Street and Drepung Monastery. Tonight, you will be staying overnight in a Hotel thinking about the beautiful places you visited.
Day 06: Lhasa (3680m.)
Today you will visit the vital Potala Palace which is Lhasa’s prime landmark and is also a wonder of Eastern architecture. Potala Palace was once home to Dalai Lama and it has been there since the fifth or sixth century. Not only this, you will also be visiting the great Sera Monastery after that. O/N at a Hotel.
Day 07: Lhasa - Gyantse (3950m.) - Shigatse (3900m.)
Today is the day to leave for another prehistoric city of Tibet. Drive Lhasa to Gyantse [3950m] 261 km, along the way you can see Khamba La Pass, Yamdrok Lake, visit Gyantse Khumbum, then drive to Shigatse, visit Tashilunpo Monastery [3900m]. O/n Hotel.
Day 08: Shigatse - Shegar (4300m.)
The view of this wilderness highland offers you the phenomenal entertainment as you bypass along the Friendship Highway which is one of the most spectacular landscapes in Tibet. After passing through the small city of Lhatse, you will cross the great Gyamtso La which is the longest pass of your journey. The land quickly falls after Gyamtso (5220m.). On the way through the Plains, you will be viewing different isolated Monasteries, calm countryside and itinerant herders. After the long day, you will be staying in a Hotel to get some sleep with different thoughts on your mind.
Day 09: Shegar - Rongbuk - Everest Base Camp - Rongbuk (5000m.)
This day, you will be gazing upon the great Mount Everest from your eye level. Today, you either drive from Shegar to Rongbuk (8 Km.) or you can walk or can even take a bus from Rongbuk to Everest base Camp which is the most underline of the tour. After Everest Base Camp, you will be driving back to Rongbuk where you will have your dinner and get some sleep.
Day 10: Rongbuk (5000m.) - Zhangmu (2300m.)
From Rongbuk, you will drive towards the Zhangmu viewing the wonderful sceneries of the road. You will stay the night at Zhangmu. The total distances between these two palces is 246 Km. the Zhangmu is situated at the altitude of 2300m above sea level.
Day 11: Zhangmu (2300m.) - Kathmandu (1350m.)
Today after your breakfast, you will be leaving towards Kodari, Nepal-Tibet border. You will be said good bye by our Tibetan drivers and guides this day. Soon after that, you will be meeting with our representative who will help you with different procedures such as immigration formalities and other. After that, you continue your 5 hrs drive to Kathmandu (123 Km.). Later, when you reach Kathmandu, you will get some sleep in one of the Hotels at Kathmandu.
BHUTAN
Day 12: Kathmandu - Paro (2250m.) - Thimpu (2320m.)
Taking a picturesque flight from Kathmandu to Paro, soon you will step off the plane and you will be escorted by our guide to Paro town for lunch. After the lunch, you will be visiting Ta Dzong, an antique watchtower which is now a museum entitled as The National Museum. Later, you will be going to Rinpung Dzong which was built in 17th century for protections. Later that day, you will be off to Thimpu, the capital city of Bhutan where you will be staying a night in a hotel.
Day 13: Thimpu Sightseeing (2320m.)
Thimpu has a population of around 66,000 which is just made up of three lines of shops and is the only capital in the world with no Traffic Lights. In the evening, you will be visiting the Handicrafts Emporium. It is the only place in Thimpu where all types of Bhutanese handicrafts are sold and even made. You drive to Punakha from Thimpu over the Dochu La pass lying at an elevation of 3050m and en route you will see more of the striking scenery. At Punakha, you will go around Punakha Dzong. In a while you visit Wangdi Dzong and then drive hotel for overnight.
Day 14: Punakha (1310m.) - Paro (Sightseeing)
Today, in the morning, you will drive to Paro. En route, you make a trip to the oldest Dzong in Bhutan, Simtokha Dzong. You keep on driving to Paro. In the afternoon, you will be visiting National Museum, Satsam Chorten Monastery and Paro Dzong. Overnight at hotel in Paro.
Day 15: Paro (2250m.)
Today is the fifteenth day of our trip and we go for seeing the sights of the Taktsang Monastery which is the most popular monastery on the cliff. It is also known as 'Tiger's Nest' Monastery. The trek up to the view point will take around 2 hours and from this point you can take delight form the spectacular view of the monastery adhering to the side of an elevated cliff. Then you walk further to reach at the monastery which will take around 2 hours and then return back to the hotel and relax. On the other hand, you can also travel around the Paro marketplace. Overnight at the hotel in Paro.
Day 16: Fly Paro to Kathmandu (1350m.)
After having breakfast you will transfer to airport for taking flight to Kathmandu. You have relaxing and free afternoon in Kathmandu. The flight will offer us great view of the high hills through the windowpane. The night will be entertaining at the nearest hotel.
Day 17: Departure
Today is the last day of your tour. You will be transferred to the airport in Kathmandu to catch the flight to return to your home country.
