Detailed Itinerary
INDIA
Day 1: Arrive Delhi (225m.)
This is the first day of our tour and you will be stepping off the plane, arriving in Delhi which is the capital city of India. There, you will be obligated to follow the customs and fill all the official paper works. After the completion of all the bureaucrat actions, you meet our representative who will transfer you to the contented Hotels and that is where you will be staying a night.
Day 2: Delhi (225m.)
After your early breakfast, you will be visiting Old and New Delhi and just after it, you leave for Red Fort, Chandani Chowk, Jama Masjid, Raj Ghat, Government Building and India Gate, along with Humayun’s Tomb, Lotus Temple and Qutub Minar. After the long hard stressful day, you will be sent to our hotels where your dinner will be served and night to stay.
Day 03: Delhi - Agra (200 Km -4 hrs drive)
Today, you drive to Agra and you check for your Hotel to get along and where you will be spending our night. After you figure out your Hotel, you will be going for the sightseeing and study of the greatest Taj Mahal which was built by Shah Jahan. After the study, you will drive back to our hotels where your dinner will be provided.
Day 04: Agra - Jaipur (250 Km-5 hrs)
After having your early breakfast, you will be driving towards Jaipur where you will pass through Fatehpur Sikri. You will visit the Pink City after that and you check into your Hotel in the same city where you will be staying overnight. Later in the evening, after you get along in the Hotel, you will be going out for the sightseeing tour of the city and visit Jantar Mantar, Hawa Mahal, City Palace and different other beautiful places
Day 05: Jaipur – Delhi
After your lunch, you drive back to Delhi and check in the Hotels. This day, it is up to you, decide what you want to do for a whole day. You can either roam around the city or even stay in the Hotel and do something indoor activities.
NEPAL
Day 06: Delhi– Kathmandu (by Flight)
Today, after your breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport and you fly back to Kathmandu. Soon after you step off the plane, you meet with our representatives who will provide you a short description about your tour. After that, you will check in the Hotel to spend a night. Later, after everything is done with the Hotel, you will be visiting Swayambhunath Stupa which is also entitled as `Monkey Temple’ and Kasthamandap Temple, Hanuman Dhoka Palace and many other holy places. After the visit, you will slowly walk towards your Hotel through the Local Market, people who are interested to buy stuffs can stop by at the market and do their stuffs or you can even go to your Hotel and rest until your tour guide take you for the typical Nepali dinner along with a folk dance performances.
Day 07: Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour
Today, you will be out for the sightseeing tour of Pashupatinath Temple which is the holiest Temple in all over the world. There, you will be seeing the cremation of death bodies and a lot of monkeys walking here and there. After the visit to Pashupatinath, you will be going for the sightseeing tour to the biggest Buddhist stupa called Boudhanath. It was erected in the 17th century and it also believed that it is a “must visit” pilgrimage site for Buddhist in their lifetime. Boudhanath area is thickly occupied by Tibetan refugees who carried the name as Little Tibet. After the visit, you will be off to Bhaktapur which is approximately 14 Km east of Kathmandu. The name ‘Bhaktapur’ means the city of devotees and is a center of potter and intriguing masks. The prime sightseeing places in Bhaktapur are Durbar Square which contains the famous Golden Gate, Nyatapola, palace of 55 windows, Bhairavnath Temple, Dattatreya Temple, et-cetera. After the long hard day, you will be staying in a hotel.
Day 08: Kathmandu – Pokhara (Fly)
After your breakfast, you will be driving to Pokhara (6 hrs drive) which is 200 Km away. Along the way, you will go through beautiful rivers and countryside. After you reach there, you will be checking into your Hotels to see everything is fine or not. After you get along in the Hotels, you will go for your tour to actual Pokhara such as Davis’ fall, Gupteswor cave, lake side, Tibetan refugee camp area and others. Soon after the visits, you will drive back to your Hotel where your dinner will be served and where you will be staying overnight.
Day 09: Pokhara – Kathmandu (Fly)
After your early breakfast, you fly back to Kathmandu and we select our Hotel to stay a night. In the afternoon, you are free to go wherever you want, either you can go for the last hour shopping or roam around or even make their own way out, everything is up to you.
TIBET
Day 10: Kathmandu – Lhasa (Fly)
After your breakfast, you will be sent to the Nepal airstrip for your flight to Lhasa. This is the most thrilling day of your Nepal Tibet Tour as you fly over the stunning mountains. In an hour, you will be reaching at Gongar Airport. Soon after you step off the Plane, our Tibetan guide will welcome you and send you to your hotel where you will be spending your night.
Day 11: Lhasa (3680m.)
Your tour in fact starts from today as you leave for Jokhang Temple after your breakfast. Jokhang Temple is one of the most famous Temples in Tibet that grasp many astonishing history. After some sightseeing of the great Jokhang Temple, you leave for another visit to Barkhor Street and Drepung Monastery. Tonight, you will be staying overnight in a Hotel thinking about the beautiful places we visited.
Day 12: Lhasa (3680m.)
Today you will visit the vital Potala Palace which is Lhasa’s prime landmark and is also a wonder of eastern architecture. Potala Palace was once home to Dalai Lama and it has been there since the fifth or sixth century. Not only this, you will also be visiting the great Sera Monastery after that. O/N at a Hotel.
Day 13: Lhasa - Gyantse - Shigatse (3900m.)
After your breakfast, you make a ride to another antique city of Tibet, Lhasa to Gyantse (3950m.). Along the way, you can see the huge Khamba La Pass and Yamdrok Lake. Soon after that, you will be leaving for Gyantse Khumbum and Tashilunpo Monastery (3900m.). This trip takes a lot of effort because visiting all these places is really a big deal so you will be spending your night in one of the Hotels in Shigatse.
Day 14: Shigatse - Shegar (4300m.)
The vision of this wilderness highland offers you the phenomenal entertainment as you bypass along the Friendship Highway which is one of the most spectacular landscapes in Tibet. After passing through the small city of Lhatse, you will cross the great Gyamtso La which is the longest pass of your journey. The land quickly falls after Gyamtso. On the way through the Plains, you will be viewing different isolated Monasteries, calm countryside and itinerant herders. After the long day, you will be staying in a Hotel to get some sleep with different thoughts on your mind.
Day 15: Shegar - Rongbuk - Everest Base Camp - Rongbuk (5000m.)
This day, you will be gazing upon the great Mount Everest from our eye level. Today, you either drive from Shegar to Rongbuk (8 Km.) or you can walk or can even take a bus from Rongbuk to Everest base Camp which is the most underline of the tour. After Everest Base Camp, you will be driving back to Rongbuk where you will have your dinner and get some sleep.
Day 16: Rongbuk to Zhangmu (2300m.)
From Rongbuk, you will begin your trekking after having the early morning refreshing breakfast. Then you will drive towards the Nyalam enjoying the beautiful sight of the road. After the short drive for several hours through the panoramic roads you will reach at the Zhangmu. You will stay the night at the Zhangmu.
Day 17: Zhangmu – Kathmandu
This is the final day of your tour. After your breakfast, you will be leaving towards Kodari, Nepal-Tibet border. You will be said good bye by your Tibetan drivers and guides this day. Soon after that, you will be meeting with our representative who will help you with different procedures such as immigration formalities and other. After that, you continue your 5 hrs drive to Kathmandu (123 Km.)Later, when you reach Kathmandu, you will get some sleep in one of the Hotels at Kathmandu.
Day 18: Departure Drive to Airport for your Final Destination.
This is the end of your Nepal Tibet Overland Tour and you will be sent to the Airstrip for your final departure.
