Day 02 Kathmandu Sightseeing Tourof Swayambhu/Kathmandu Durbar Square/Patan City

Swayambhunath:
Atop a green hillock west of Kathmandu, stands the great Buddhist Stupa. This is a site that is over 2500 years old marking the point where the legendary patriarch Manjushri mystically discovered the lotus of the ancient valley lake. Constructed to specific rules each with a symbolic meaning, the stupa of Swayambhunath is a model of its kind. Swayambhunath, which is also popularly referred as a Monkey Temple is best view point for the entire Kathmandu valley as well.

Kathmandu City:
Kathmandu Durbar Square is one of the popular places liked by many visitors due to its exquisite architecture and artistic embellishment. The complex of palaces, Legendary Kasthamandap Temple, Hanuman Dhoka Palace and many other shrines, courtyards and temples, built in 1200 to 1768 A.D. with hundreds of erotic carvings used to be the seat of the ancient Malla kings of Kathmandu which epitomizes the religions and cultural life of the people. Kathmandu Durbar Square is extravagantly popular for being the Living Goddess Kumari where one can have the golden opportunity to get the audience of the goddess, the Human Being literally been worshiped as a God as similar as the idol in the temple.

Patan City:
The Patan Durbar Square has been acclaimed as one of the finest urban streetscapes in the world. Most of the monuments seen today were built between the 16th – 18th centuries. It is known as the centre of fine arts and for the superb craftsmanship of its artisans. Essentially a Buddhist city, historic inscriptions establish Patan as an important town.

Boudhanath:
The colossal ancient 36 meters high Buddhist Stupa is the largest stupa in Nepal and also one of the largest ancient Stupa in South Asia is located in the east of the valley. It was built by the Lichchhavi King Mana Dev in the 4th century A.D. The Rinpoches who reside here have established Boudhnath as one of the most flourishing centers of Tibetan Buddhism in the world. Therefore it is referred as a “Little Tibet”. Bouddhanath area is densely populated by the presence of different Buddhist monks and Tibetan refugees with more than 30 different monasteries (Buddhist schools)

Pashupatinath:
Pashupatinath Temple, a world famous Hindus temple dedicated to Lord Shiva .It is one of the most sacred Hindu shrines in the world. It lies 5 km. east of the city on the bank of the Holly River, Bagmati. Open crimination of death body on wooden pyre on the bank of the River has been astonishingly observed by countless Foreigners and locals for the centuries! Thousands of pilgrims visit this temple every day. Entrance to the temple’s inner premises is forbidden to non-Hindus but the overall view of temple can be seen from the back side. The Large, gilded triple-roofed temple was built in 1696 A.D. though 300 years earlier this structure was there on this site.

Bhaktapur City:
Bhaktapur, the term signifying to city of devotees, a former capital city of the Kathmandu valley was once a flourishing city on the trade route to Tibet. It has preserved its traditional character better than the other two cities, due to its more isolated location. It is regarded today as a classic showcase of medieval Nepalese urban life. It is situated in the east of Kathmandu valley in the distance of 14 km. Today, it retains much of its beauty in the form of ornate woodcarvings, famed Golden Gate, big and spacious Durbar Square( Palace area), potter shaping with their pottery, intriguing masks hanging here and there, 55windows palace, Nyatapola, Bhairavnath and Dattatreya Temples and the fascinating live Newari ( specific cast) life styles, their way of living . This World Heritage site mystically takes us back to the reminiscent of the 12th centaury onwards to late 18th centaury!

Day 04 Kathmandu - Pokhara (910m/2986ft.)
After Breakfast 6 hrs Drive to Pokhara about 200km through good scenery of River and countryside. Check in to the Hotel. Free afternoon. Take a walk around Lakeside or you can do boating at fewa lake. O/n Hotel.

Day 05 Pokhara
Day Tour of Pokhara Valley such as Davi's fall, Kumbheshore Cave, Bindabasini Temple, Visit Lake side. O/n hotel

Day 06 Pokhara - Kathmandu
Early morning 30 min drive to sarangkot for beautiful sunrise view including Mountain views. Back to the Hotel and time for Breakfast. After Breakfast Drive back to Kathamndu 5-6hrs drive. O/n Hotel

Day 07 Kathmandu - Nagarkot
After Breakfast Drive to Changunarayan for one of the popular Hindus temple, after Tour of this Temple then Drive to Nagarkot. In the evening beautiful sunset view can be seen from the Hotel. O/n nice Resort.

Day 08 Nagarkot- Dhulikhel
Early morning sunrise view can be seen from the Hotel. After Breakfast Drive to another country side village called Dhulikhel. Free afternoon look around the small typical Newari town. O/n nice Resort.

Day 09 Dhulikhel - Namobuddha - Kathmandu
After Breakfast drive to Namobuddha. Visit a Buddhist Monastery and a historical place where one of the compassionate Buddha sacrificed his own flesh in order to feed the hungry Tiger. Then slowly drive down to Kathmandu. O/n Hotel.

Day 10 Departure
Drive to Airport for your Final Departure.
