You cannot see the hotel until you are almost there. Hidden on a ridge overlooking Mt. Everest, (8848m), Lhotse, Ama Dablam, (6,856 m.), Thamserku and Tawoche, the hotel blends gracefully with its surrounding. The other way to reach Syangboche is by Helicopter, morning helicopter ride from Kathmandu to Syangboche, hotel's airstrip at Shyangboche (3810m) takes 50 minutes.During this morning flight the entire panoramic views of the great snow-clad Himalaya unfolds as the flight climbs out of Kathmandu valley and flies above endless hills blanketed with terraces and small village. You may have nice breakfast at Hotel Everest View and take great pictures of many clear mountains then again fly back to Kathamndu by Helicopter or you may spend the night there and from next day you may slowly trek back to Namche then again trek back to Lukla then next day morning take regular flight back to Kathmandu.
